One day, I saw one photo on Twitter. The winding octopus’s feet are three-dimensional, and the patterns are as delicate as lace. What’s shocking is that this is a “cutting paper art” made by cutting paper.<\/p>\n

“When I put on Twitter last December, there was a great response,” said author Fukuda. “I was very happy that people from all over the world sent me comments.”<\/p>\n

Two months in the making of masterpiece “Octopus”<\/p>\n

Named “Octopus”, this work is “a masterpiece created by mobilizing all the technology that it can possess” and it took two months to produce it. Mrs. Fukuda is an office worker who specializes in the repair of watches, and he goes to work after work and on holidays. The work is also a fine work that uses tweezers and so on, but She says, “I like the fine work from the old days, so even if you cut it after work, it doesn’t bother me at all.<\/p>\n

In addition, various works such as “jellyfish” and “humpback whales” are presented. The scale of the deep-sea fish “king of herrings” is said to be the “finest of all the works”, and the fineness of the line is about 0.2 mm. The tools used are not special. There are 4 items, “Design Knife”, which can be purchased at a stationery shop, and a cutter mat, paper and paste under paper. It is said that paper often uses paper similar to drawing paper called “tanto paper”, but it is also possible that it is made of film-processed origami or the like.<\/p>\n
